If you bleed blue, here's the news: Boise State debuted at No. 25 Tuesday, the only Group of Six team in the rankings. As the highest-ranked Group of 6 team, the Broncos slot into the No. 12 spot in the 12-team bracket. If the season ended today, that means a first-round game at No. 5 Alabama, played on campus.
The committee has the Broncos lower than other polls do: No. 20 in the AP and No. 21 in the coaches' poll. New Mexico is the closest challenger, and KIDO Talk Radio says the Lobos would get the spot if Boise State lost and New Mexico won out.
- Record: 7-1 overall, 4-0 in the Pac-12
- Only loss: 34-27 at Oregon, now No. 23
- Rival: New Mexico, 7-1, No. 22 in the AP poll
- Bracket: four conference champions, one Group of 6 team, seven at-large teams
Boise State's road to the final bracket runs through Dec. 6

The rankings came amid a win streak that KTVB says is fueled by Dylan Riley's dominant rushing attack. Saturday they visit Colorado State, 3-5 this season.
