  • A new agriculture summit debuted Thursday in Boise where local farmers, academics and industry leaders met to discuss rising costs and farmland loss in the industry.  Idaho Press

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • The TSA warns Idaho travelers not to wear sparkly holiday sweaters or pack wrapped gifts at airports, as these items may trigger extra screenings during the busy travel period from Dec. 20 to Jan. 1. The advisory aims to help avoid delays for travelers during this peak season.  KIDO

SPORTS NEWS

  • Ashton Jeanty of Boise State scored two touchdowns for the Raiders in an NFL game against the Texans this past weekend, finishing with 24 points and a 61‐yard reception that energized the play even though the team lost.  KIDO
  • Today, the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl ended with WSU Cougars beating Utah State Aggies 34-21; the win is notable as Utah State will join the Pac-12 next season and WSU announced former Boise State coach Kirby Moore as head coach, hinting at a budding rivalry.  KIDO
