- ➤ Gov. Brad Little announced a 7.5% cut in the state's unemployment insurance tax rate for 2026, which is expected to save employers about $11 million (the base rate will drop to 0.729% with an increased taxable wage base). Updated rates will be mailed to businesses next week. KBOI
