- ➤ Sweet Zola's, a nonprofit candy shop (employing only people with disabilities), will close its doors on Dec. 31 due to financial strain, its founder said. Idaho Press

- ➤ Local homeowners risk up to $11,000 in fines if their laser Christmas light displays are aimed improperly — nine incidents were reported during the 2024 holiday season in the Boise area and the FAA said they should adjust displays to protect pilot safety. KIDO
