- ➤ This Is Boise will host the Winter Wonder Market on Small Business Saturday at The Riverside Hotel in Garden City on November 29 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., where local makers will offer crafts, complimentary coffee will be served until noon, and families can enjoy kid activities such as face painting and photos with Santa — all with free admission. - ➤ St. Vincent de Paul will provide 3,300 Thanksgiving meals for local families as part of its 49th annual Thanksgiving Food Box Program—more than 700 volunteers will join to distribute meals across Treasure Valley. Idaho Press
- ➤ Businesses and nonprofits in Idaho will support foster children over the holidays—each effort includes gift cards for aging-out youth, Holiday Kids Bikes, a Barnes & Noble Bookfair, and a Christmas fundraiser as legislators target $66,000 in aid. - ➤ A bomb threat at Boise Airport on Monday at about 2:53 p.m. delayed flights — Boise Police later found no hazardous items during their sweep — and all operations returned to normal. KBOI

- ➤ The Egyptian Theatre in downtown Boise will host a Holiday Movie Marathon starting Friday, November 28th until Christmas Eve. The event will show films such as The Polar Express and Home Alone — a fun winter treat for local movie fans. KIDO

- ➤ On November 23, Boise recorded one of its warmest Novembers with temperatures at 49.3 degrees—7.6 above normal, and cooler air will arrive later this week to bring the weather closer to average. KBOI
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Idaho Congressman Russ Fulcher introduced a bill to ease regulatory burdens on geothermal exploration by allowing a faster review process—making it more similar to oil and gas approvals and potentially benefiting Idaho's energy sector.
