- ➤ On November 27, the Turkey Day 5K will be held in downtown Boise and Caldwell to support Boise Rescue Mission and Camp Rainbow Gold; organizers offer advance race packet pick-ups (beginning November 22 in Boise) and a revised course that gives runners almost a mile to spread out (eliminating a sharp left turn). BUSINESS NEWS
- ➤ Idaho Amazon Prime members who were tricked into signing up may receive an automatic refund as part of an FTC settlement against Amazon—refunds began on November 12 and will continue through Christmas Eve. Eligible customers can get up to $51 via email or check. KIDO
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Three Idaho cities — Boise, Moscow, and Pocatello — were ranked in a recent study for sports support; Boise ended at #134 overall and #41 among mid sized cities, while Moscow and Pocatello finished at #212 (or #114 among small cities) and #253 (or #139 among small cities) respectively. The study noted that local teams, like Boise State football, continue to draw strong support even without professional squads. KIDO
