- ➤ Clemy's Crew will host Concert for Compassion at Treefort Music Hall on November 29 from 5 to 9 p.m. to raise funds for Idaho families facing a pediatric medical crisis — local bands will perform as guests enjoy pizza, raffles, and auctions. KIDO
- ➤ Scentsy held its 9th Annual Christmas Lights Celebration in Meridian on Nov. 14 — featuring a 250-foot light tunnel, a 75-foot Christmas tree, and fourteen food trucks with local favorites as CEO Dan Orchard led a lighting countdown near the Scentsy Clocktower. The lights will remain on display from sunset to sunrise through Jan. 19, 2026 for free public viewing. KBOI

- ➤ Jurassic Quest is underway at Expo Idaho this weekend — visitors can ride dinosaurs, dig for fossils and explore LEGO displays — offering a unique event for local families. KIDO
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Boise Police closed Harrison Boulevard between Resseguie and Sherman Streets and W. Ada Street between 15th and 17th Streets from 4 to 9 p.m. today to allow community members to honor Mora Gerety at a candlelight vigil—set for 7 p.m. at the intersection of Harrison and Ada. Officers will manage the closures and may allow brief breaks for traffic if safety permits. KBOI
- ➤ Ada County Highway District said work will begin Tuesday on the Linder Road, State Highway 44 to Floating Feather Road project. The closure from Saguaro Drive to Rosslare Court is expected to last through spring 2026—local drivers should use Park Lane or Palmer Lane. KBOI
- ➤ Boise Fire Chief Mark Niemeyer retired after decades of service as a first responder in the Treasure Valley. City and state leaders attended the send-off at the Boise Fire Training Center—honoring his long career. Idaho Press
- ➤ Five Eastern Idaho residents were honored with the 2025 Spirit of Freedom: Idaho Veteran Service award given by Senator Mike Crapo, who created the award in 2002 to recognize the service of veterans and volunteers.
