  • Local veterans organizations including the Rock of Honor Board & American Legion Post 113 held a Veterans Day wreath laying ceremony at the Rock of Honor Memorial in Julius Kleiner Memorial Park in Meridian, where veterans and family members honored service members past and present with a rifle salute, taps and Amazing Grace. Flags, red poppies and speeches underscored the community’s remembrance of military service.  KBOI

  • Trader Joe’s in downtown Boise now offers a 1-2-3 Mystery Pack with reusable state-themed bags for only $2.99—each pack features a unique design with a recipe from the state and is available near the checkout line.   • David Rush, a Boise State graduate with over 350 Guinness World Records, set a new record this week in Meridian by riding a unicycle while holding seven bowling balls weighing 55 pounds for 10 seconds—he says he does it to promote STEM education.  KIDO

  • Idaho last saw a Mega Millions jackpot winner almost 13 years ago when Holly Lahti in Rathdrum split a $380 million prize and then retreated from public view—her win remains the state's only notable Mega Millions success. The jackpot had climbed to $900 million on November 1, while Idaho recorded five Powerball winners in earlier years.  KIDO
