- ➤ Zoo Boise is offering $3 Admission Days every Thursday from November through February along with special events on Nov 28 and Dec 20–Dec 31; today’s admission is $3 and EBT/SNAP cardholders receive free entry for the cardholder plus three family members with valid ID. The zoo also unveiled the new Small Animal Kingdom—featuring sand cats, meerkats, Aldabra tortoises, and cotton-top tamarins—to support local and global wildlife conservation. KBOI
- ➤ Catholic lay leaders in Boise will hold a public vigil outside the Idaho Capitol Building on Nov. 13 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. as part of the One Church, One Family campaign to support migrant families, asylum seekers and refugees — the event will feature scripture readings, multi-lingual prayer, cultural dance and reflections coinciding with the Feast Day of Mother Cabrini.
