- ➤ A Boise family donated over 233 pounds of pull tabs to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Idaho in memory of baby Kai—local schools and community groups helped boost the donation during Halloween and the family plans to collect more for next year. KBOI
ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Rescue teams began searching Saturday night for two fishermen who went missing after their small red boat was found entangled in weeds near the far dock at Henry’s Lake near Island Park—Bonneville County Sheriff's Office, Fremont County Ambulance and Air Idaho Rescue assisted the search. - ➤ Mo Bettahs, a fast-food chain known for its Hawaiian menu from Nampa and Meridian, will soon open on Broadway Avenue at the former Del Taco site. The restaurant will offer popular island flavors and hopes to serve Boise food lovers (anticipation is growing). KIDO

- ➤ ExtraMile Arena announced that acclaimed comedian Jim Gaffigan (an eight-time Grammy nominee) will perform in Boise on June 11, 2026. Artist ticket presale begins November 5 (general sale starts November 7 at 10:00 a.m.). KIDO
- ➤ Boise’s 2026 concert season is building on last year’s record attendance as major acts like O.A.R. with Gavin DeGraw are set for a 30th anniversary show on August 14 at Ford Idaho Center — promising a schedule that will offer even more shows at venues such as Treefort Music Hall and Outlaw Field. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ On November 1, Boise reported a sanitary sewer overflow in the Thurman Drain area north of Chinden Blvd. and east of S. Eagle Rd caused by a power surge at the West Boise Water Renewal Facility — city crews quickly contained and cleaned up the untreated wastewater while confirming that drinking water and residential systems were not impacted and further tests are underway. - ➤ Boise Airport announced on Monday a food drive to support federal workers affected by the shutdown — the initiative comes as donations are sought to help those impacted by the government closure. Idaho Press

- ➤ Marlon, a Twitch streamer who was live for 24 hours a day, visited Boise last weekend—he met local fans and checked out spots like Idaho's first In N Out at the village.
