- ➤ Every other Friday morning, students at Fremont Middle School in Kuna collect pop tabs and give them to James and Stephanie Colquitt to donate to Ronald McDonald House Charities in memory of their baby Kai, who died in 2019. The drive has seen strong community participation—Fremont Middle collected over 66,000 tabs since August and is aiming to reach last school year's nearly 266,000 total. KBOI

- ➤ The Idaho State History Museum invites veterans — active-duty service members and their families — to enjoy free admission from noon to 5 p.m. on Veterans Day as they explore exhibits on veterans' contributions to the state. KBOI
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Boise officials have slowed Lime scooter speeds after several injuries and complaints, capping riders at 12 mph in the Greenbelt—15 mph downtown and 8 mph near bars on weekend nights. The new limits are meant to improve safety for both riders and pedestrians. KIDO
- ➤ The Idaho Department of Labor will host a hiring event on Nov. 6 from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the State of Idaho Chinden Campus at 11351 W. Chinden Blvd., where employers such as Ada County Highway District + Boise State University will interview job seekers for various roles. KBOI
