  • A local animal control officer turned in a lost pet pig to West Valley Humane Society, where staff said he is friendly, domesticated and enjoying time outdoors with food, water, hay and shelter. Community members have visited him while his owner has fifteen days to claim him.  KIDO

  • At the beginning of this year the Dancing With the Stars tour stopped at the Morrison Center but it will not return, sparking disappointment among local fans—who now await further details.  KIDO

  • Eagle Fire Department is expanding with 2 new fire stations to support community growth — the expansion will boost wildfire readiness and improve emergency response times.  Idaho Press
  • Mountain Home city officials held a press conference Tuesday to clarify details after last week's Defense Department announcement about a new Qatar Emiri Air Force training facility at Mountain Home Air Force Base—Qatar is set to bring 12 jets under a 10-year contract with personnel arriving by 2030—officials said the project will boost local jobs and economic growth.  Local News 8
