  • A national review site has named The Original Pancake House the best pancake house in Idaho—its no-frills look and quality ingredients set it apart. The restaurant at 5900 W Fairview serves favorites like the Apple Pancake and Dutch Baby that draw both locals and visitors.  KIDO
  • Slick City filed a planning permit with the City of Boise to convert the old JoAnn Fabrics space on Milwaukee—turning it into an indoor slide park with cafes, extra restrooms and party rooms. If approved, the attraction will add a series of slides and special events as part of a rapid expansion that will see 24 new locations open from November to winter.  KIDO

CULTURE NEWS

  • Celebrity Bert Kreischer posted a video that made 'Pick Me Up' — a local food truck serving dirty sodas — famous in the Treasure Valley. The truck, parked outside the Ford Idaho Center and operating at 11 spots in Nampa, continues to draw a growing number of fans.  KIDO

FINANCE NEWS

  • Idaho AT&T customers who experienced data breaches on March 30 and July 12, 2024 may receive cash from a nationwide class-action settlement—if they can show related costs, they could get up to $5,000 for the March breach or $2,500 for the July breach. Customers must file claims by December 18, with a final court hearing on January 15 at 9:00 a.m. CT.  KIDO

  • During Boise State homecoming last weekend, TikToker Mattie—who has 12 million followers and is the sister of a spirit squad member—visited Boise to support the Broncos and made viral TikToks that boosted school spirit.  KIDO
