- ➤ Kia America announced a recall of nearly 40,000 vehicles due to an HVAC error that could cause a fire risk—Idaho drivers of affected models should check with their local dealerships for repairs. KIDO

- ➤ Transparent Idaho released updated 2025 salary data effective October 1 showing Idaho Supreme Court justices earning $186,508 and Governor Little earning $151,400—while the top 10 highest paid work at major universities with salaries funded by non-state sources. KIDO

- ➤ The City of Meridian and the Meridian Fire Department are hosting open house events at local fire stations to discuss a proposed public safety levy for the Nov. 4th ballot that would keep 13 firefighter positions, raise police wages, and fund a prosecution unit. - ➤ Boise State will host a free watch party on their massive stadium screen—THE BLUE—for fans to watch the Notre Dame game, offering an affordable option for those unable to buy one of the limited 5,000 tickets.
