  • A nineteen year old died in a crash involving three vehicles Thursday morning in Kuna — three others were injured.  Idaho Press

BUSINESS NEWS

  • Great Wall Restaurant — Buffet closed permanently today after 45 years of serving locals, as management announced its final meals will be served until the food runs out. Customers gathered in support while the community faces the loss of a cherished food destination.  KIDO
  • Spirit Airlines will exit the Boise market effective October 4 by ending its single route from Boise to Las Vegas—other carriers will continue serving this route. Boise Airport is set to pursue new air service opportunities as it benefits from strong passenger growth.  KBOI

CULTURE NEWS

  • Boise Art Museum's Art in the Park returns to Julia Davis Park today as its 71st annual event and fundraiser — the event will run through Sept. 7.  Idaho Press
  • Boise Pride will hold its 36th annual festival at Ann Morrison Park for the first time in over ten years as it moves to a larger space to accommodate rising community support despite a $200,000 shortfall in corporate funding. The free, two-day event will offer Saturday performances with drag shows, music acts and a 9 p.m. fireworks display—Sunday’s program will feature a parade starting at 10 a.m., a pet pride show and additional free festivities.  KBOI
