  • A Kuna Police Deputy, Tyson Jones, was injured when his motorcycle collided with a deer on August 24 at about 11 a.m. on Highway 21 near Grand Forest—he remains in stable condition at a local hospital and is expected to be discharged this evening.  KBOI

BUSINESS NEWS

  • Costco has switched its food court drinks from Pepsi to Coca-Cola in all 7 Idaho stores after warnings were given months ago. The change was announced during an earnings call and Idaho shoppers now see Coke drinks in place of Pepsi at food courts—sparking debate among loyal fans.  KIDO

CULTURE NEWS

  • On August 21, The All-American Rejects visited a downtown Boise record shop during the Western Idaho Fair+ meeting fans and signing autographs. Over 250 people lined up to see the band before they performed at the fair.  KIDO
