Good morning, Boise.

Thousands of people drove to Nampa municipal airport to watch 80-year-old historic airplanes fly during the first day of the Warbird Roundup—organizers say the event will attract more aviation fans in the coming days.

Aviation enthusiasts visited the Warhawk Air Museum and witnessed the F-35A Lightning II fly with WWII aircraft during the 23rd annual Warbird Roundup—Idaho’s largest gathering of historic warbirds.

Visitors met pilots and explored exhibits that highlighted both modern and historic air power.
