ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • A motorcyclist died Tuesday morning in Boise after suffering a medical emergency while riding near Vista Ave on Lemhi St—responders arrived at 10:15 a.m. and attempted life-saving measures before he was pronounced dead at the scene.  KBOI

CRIME NEWS

  • Bryan Kohberger showed sexist and creepy behavior during his criminal justice program—fellow students and faculty reported that he blocked office doors and made troubling remarks—before he was sentenced to life for killing four University of Idaho students.  KSL

CULTURE NEWS

  • Boise hotspot Barbacoa was named as Idaho's most beautiful restaurant by LoveFood on its list of America’s best restaurants. The restaurant—blending art with fine dining—features distinctive design and offers clear views of the Boise Valley.  KIDO
  • Boise’s Holidome opened in 1976 at 3300 Vista Avenue as a family hotel with a Polynesian theme and indoor attractions—like a pool, mini golf, and arcade games—that created a unique year-round playground but later lost these features as it was rebranded.  KIDO

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • The Idaho Transportation Department will close eastbound I-84 near Gowen Road at night for one week to repair bumps and rutting on the roadway—drivers will follow a detour using the nearby ramps with only minor delays expected.  KBOI
