ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • A fire on Sunday morning at 6:34 a.m. severely damaged a home on the 13000 block of W. Paint St., displacing a Boise family when flames started on the backyard deck and quickly spread to the wood siding — firefighters attacked the blaze from both the back and front of the house — and no injuries were reported.  KBOI

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • An Idaho legislator will soon unveil a proposed constitutional amendment—intended to protect public lands and strengthen conservation efforts. Lawmakers will review the plan at an upcoming session to discuss its potential impact.  Idaho Press

  • Boise runner Samantha Hager lost weight earlier this year and ran 54 miles in one night from her front stoop to Mountain Home—she is now training for a 100-mile ultramarathon.  Idaho Press
