ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ The Idaho Transportation Department reported that the deadliest hour on Idaho roads is Saturday afternoon from 4:00 to 5:00—when drivers rush home and many use phones or fail to buckle up. The data shows a rise from 88 to 94 deaths compared to last year, and law enforcement advises staying off phones, wearing seatbelts, and following speed limits. KIDO

- ➤ Driftwood Fry House at The Warehouse Food Hall closed permanently, leaving space for a new vendor called Just Chicken based on signage in the venue. KIDO
- ➤ Ford is recalling over 850,000 vehicles including F-150s, Broncos and Explorers built from 2021 through 2023 because a fuel-pump issue may stall engines while you drive. - ➤ Residents in Boise posted photos of large wasps that some thought were murder hornets; however, experts confirmed the insects are native cicada killer wasps (which paralyze cicadas for their nests) and are not aggressive unless disturbed. KIDO

- ➤ Idaho Lottery officials presented dividend checks at the College of Western Idaho on Tuesday—marking its 36th year—as the $75M payout was the third-largest total in lottery history and will fund improvements to public facilities. Idaho Press
