Good morning, Boise.

A new report warns that mosquitoes in the Treasure Valley are more attracted to colors like +green+ and +violet+ and may carry West Nile Virus, so residents are urged to clear standing water, trim shrubs and use repellent to lower their risk.

It is hot in Boise today and health experts warn that spending hours in the high-90s sun can lead to painful sun poisoning (symptoms include red, tender sunburn, blisters, and swelling).

Residents are advised to seek shade or stay indoors when possible.
