Good morning, Boise. Here's your local news at a glance for Tuesday, the 8th of July.

CRIME NEWS

CULTURE NEWS

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • Hydrologists say Idaho's water supply is in trouble as dry weather and high temperatures since April 1 have lowered Snake River storage—eastern areas may face water shortages in August and September while reservoirs in Boise may have little carryover for the next irrigation season.  KBOI

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Nampa Mayor Debbie Kling has backed a plan to transfer the Ford Idaho Center to the College of Western Idaho to create new opportunities amid budget constraints—officials say the change will not affect the venue's operations. • Today, Boise allows bridge jumping if you land more than 50 feet from floaters, but you may get a $100 fine & face extra citations if you block passersby.  KIDO
