ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ On June 28, a man drowned while swimming near Castle Creek campground in Boise National Forest — rescue teams responded and stated that alcohol was not a factor. KBOI
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ First responders attended an ambush in Coeur d'Alene (June 29) where multiple firefighters were shot and at least two lost their lives while officials continue to investigate the incident. KBOI
- ➤ Two firefighters died when attackers ambushed them while responding to a fire in Coeur d'Alene on Sunday, June 29, and Idaho lawmakers urged residents to avoid the scene as law enforcement investigates the deadly attack—Governor Little and other officials expressed sorrow. KBOI
- ➤ Idaho law enforcement will increase patrols on roadways during an upcoming major holiday weekend—as part of the 100 Deadliest Days effort to reduce drunk driving fatalities. Idaho Press
