- ➤ Judge Steven Hippler ruled on June 26th that there will be no delay in Brian Kohberger’s trial for the murder of four University of Idaho students — the trial is slated to begin on August 11th in Ada County with opening statements following on August 18th. KIDO

- ➤ Idaho Fish and Game euthanized an adult male grizzly on June 26 after it became food-conditioned by accessing unsecured garbage in an Island Park neighborhood; officials advise residents to secure attractants (using bear-resistant containers or indoor storage) to protect both people and wildlife.
