- ➤ Local agencies launch the Summer Cooling plan to offer safe shelter to community members experiencing homelessness amid extreme heat by uniting Our Path Home with partners like Interfaith Sanctuary, Corpus Christi House, Boise Public Library, CATCH’s Street Outreach and Treasure Valley Family YMCA — the plan provides services from June 9 until the end of September — and seeks seasonal donations to reduce health risks. - ➤ Nampa police are searching for 12-year-old Cienna Marie Guarascio, who is 5 feet tall, weighs 160 pounds, and has blond hair and green eyes—her family received a tip that she might be with friends nearby. KBOI
- ➤ Vallow-Daybell’s attorney filed an appeal with the Idaho Supreme Court to overturn her murder and other convictions in Idaho—arguing that her constitutional rights to choose counsel, receive due process, and have a speedy trial were violated—while she remains on trial in Arizona following her 2023 life sentence.
