- ➤ Students, alumni and staff at Bishop Kelly High School have united to support retired custodian Kenny Matthews, who now pays about $3,000 a month for memory care. A GoFundMe campaign aims to raise $36,000 for a year of care — the effort has reached nearly 40% of its goal so far. KIDO

- ➤ A woman died Thursday in a two-vehicle crash in north Boise—another person was injured. Idaho Press
- ➤ The Ada County Coroner's Office released the identity of a woman who died after being rescued from the Boise canal on Thursday—she was pulled from the water in an effort that did not succeed. Idaho Press

- ➤ At Boise Airport, United Airlines updated its check-in policy on June 3 so that all domestic flyers had to check in at least 45 minutes before departure while Southwest Airlines stopped allowing portable chargers and power banks in carry-on bags from May 28 to reduce battery fire risk & local travelers are advised to review these airline rules before flying this summer. - ➤ A motorcyclist who evaded police on Tuesday by driving over 100 mph and later over 150 mph on Interstate 84 is now wanted by Idaho State Police as his dangerous actions put lives at risk, and authorities are asking the public for any information. KIDO

- ➤ Boise State will host a free screening of 'A Minecraft Movie' on June 13th at 6 p.m. on its blue turf. Families can bring their own food and nonalcoholic beverages — the event is expected to draw local movie fans. KIDO

- ➤ A French company called Veolia will raise Boise water rates nearly 12% in the Treasure Valley—residents may need to use less water to help reduce costs. KIDO
