- ➤ The City of Boise Parks and Rec has released a checklist of playgrounds to help families explore both familiar and new parks this summer—families who complete the list can receive a custom water bottle, and the checklist is available at Ann Morrison Park. KBOI
ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ The Ada County Coroner identified 20-year-old Alyssa Bistline as the victim who drowned in the Ridenbaugh Canal near W. Rose Hill St. on Tuesday night—Boise Police and Fire are investigating the incident and the cause of death remains pending. KBOI
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ On June 4th at about 1:50 p.m., Meridian police said a suspect used lipstick to vandalize a Tesla Cybertruck, causing $500 in damage—she was seen driving a red sedan and appeared to be a woman in her 20s or 30s with blue hair—and police are now seeking the Lipstick Bandit. KIDO
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ The Idaho Archaeology Fair is taking place today in downtown Boise from noon to 6 p.m.—with historians, archaeologists, and students working at the historic Assay Office to uncover clues from the mining boom. KBOI
- ➤ The Speaking Volumes: Transforming Hate art exhibition is open in Boise until August 8th at three venues — Boise State University’s Albertsons Library, the Wassmuth Center for Human Rights and the Erma Hayman. Curator Katie Knight said the show turns hate-filled books into art and began in 2004 when artists first transformed books from a hate group into new works. KBOI
