- ➤ The Snake River Stampede returns to Ford Idaho Center in Nampa on June 17 for its 110th year with events including bareback bronc riding, saddle bronc riding, bull riding, steer wrestling, tie-down roping, team roping, ladies’ barrel racing and mutton busting for kids. ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ On Tuesday just before 8 p.m., Boise Fire and Police responded to reports of a person trapped in a canal near the 2900 block of West Rose Hill Street and rescued an adult woman near Latah Street—she received medical care and was taken to a local hospital—while Latah Street from Cassia to Albion was closed as crews looked for a possible second victim. - ➤ A Boise man was sentenced to nine years in federal prison for robbing a Mountain Home bank — he threatened tellers with an explosive device and led police on a high-speed chase before pleading guilty in February, with a three-year period of supervised release to follow. KBOI
- ➤ The Ada County Sheriff's Office is investigating allegations that Redline Recreational Toys stole rental boats, RVs, and snowmobiles—and a former employee claims unpaid wages with deductions for non-existent benefits, while social media posts allege further equipment issues. KBOI
- ➤ The Ada County Sheriff's Office warned today of an increase in car burglaries around Boise—residents are advised to secure their vehicles. KBOI

- ➤ Early Tuesday, more than 20 earthquakes measuring over 2.0 were recorded about 9 to 10 miles northwest of Stanley, with the largest reaching a magnitude of 4.0 and several quakes following into the morning and afternoon. Officials said the tremors may be part of an earthquake swarm caused by ongoing tectonic shifts — residents are advised to prepare. Local News 8

- ➤ Idaho health officials say it will take years for Medicaid benefits to shift from state oversight to private companies after the Legislature directed changes to multiple policies.
