- ➤ A retired Air Force pilot said a mid-air collision occurred during Sunday's Gunfighter Skies Air and Space Celebration near Mountain Home Air Force Base, with emergency crews responding and one airman treated for minor injuries while investigators began reviewing the incident. KBOI
- ➤ Firefighter Ed Dickman and his companion Sherry Jones died in a plane crash near Empire on Sunday, May 17, as they were returning from a family event in Nevada. The incident occurred while they were traveling back to Idaho. KBOI

- ➤ Burread Bakery, owned by Mike Burr, in downtown Boise uses traditional Slovak techniques + locally sourced ingredients to make artisanal breads and pastries that build community.
