  • Portneuf Valley will host its 21st annual Idaho Field of Heroes Memorial from May 23 to May 26 at Century High School’s soccer fields to honor fallen service members from the Global War on Terrorism; the event features a 10 a.m. Friday dedication ceremony and offers volunteer opportunities (May 19 to May 22) for setup and (May 27) for cleanup.  Local News 8

  • Accused of killing four University of Idaho students, Bryan Kohberger appeared in Ada County Courthouse yesterday to address surveillance footage, phone records, and jury questionnaires—court officials sealed key evidence details ahead of his trial, with jury selection scheduled late next month and opening arguments set for early August.  KBOI

  • Boise Mayor McLean delivered her 6th State of the City Address on Thursday at the Boise Centre and outlined progress in affordable housing, public safety, job creation, and parks—projects aiming to help families thrive.
