The Discovery Center will host a free summer kickoff at Julia Davis Paddle Boats in Julia Davis Park on Saturday, May 23 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. featuring paddle boat rides, food trucks, vendor booths and yard games for a lively community celebration.

Gem State Comic Con returns to Expo Idaho in Boise on Friday, May 15 to Sunday, May 17.

The three-day pop culture event will feature celebrity guests, cosplay, panels and local vendor booths — designed to bring fans together.
