- ➤ A father-daughter duo from Menan will run in the 129th annual Boston Marathon, joining 30,000 athletes preparing for the race. Rand Watson (a 2016 finisher) and his daughter, Jessi Murdock (who have raced in Idaho, California, and Colorado) share a strong family passion for running. Local News 8
- ➤ Zoo Boise will host its Earth Day: Family Night Out event that invites families, scout groups and homeschool co-ops to explore interactive activity stations—where visitors can create eco-friendly crafts and learn through hands-on exhibits. KIDO

- ➤ Boise Airport announced the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower program to help travelers with invisible disabilities signal they need extra support by wearing a green lanyard. - ➤ It has been one year since Ada County Sheriff’s Deputy Tobin Bolter was shot and killed in the line of duty, leaving a community in mourning — his name will be added to the Idaho Peace Officer Memorial wall on May 8 and to the National Memorial Wall during National Police Week. KBOI
