CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Attorney General Raúl Labrador introduced K-9 Badger today as the newest member of his ICAC Unit— a two-year-old English Labrador trained to detect TPPO on hidden electronic storage devices that may contain child sexual abuse material. Badger, one of only 195 K-9s worldwide with this training, will help investigators uncover concealed evidence used by suspects. KBOI
- ➤ Boise police arrested Tiffani Mathes (31) on Monday in connection with a string of vehicle burglaries, and she now faces 13 felony charges. Idaho Press
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Boise garden fans will see the 28th Annual Boise Flower & Garden Show from March 28 to March 30 at the Boise Centre on 850 W Front St. The show will offer gardens, outdoor furniture, garden gadgets, a bonsai display, seminars and demonstrations and will run (10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday). - ➤ A search committee was formed by the state board to find the next president of Boise State University, and it will start reviewing candidates soon. Idaho Press
- ➤ At the West Ada School District office on Sunday afternoon, students, patrons and locals gathered for the Chalk the Walk event that aimed to show support—officials washed off chalk art that sparked controversy over an inclusive poster. Idaho Press

- ➤ An indecent exposure bill passed in the Senate and is headed to Governor Brad Little's desk for his review. Idaho Press
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ BAM Jam, Boise’s biggest 3-on-3 basketball tournament, will be held in Meridian from March 28th to March 30th at Owyhee High School—teams will compete in brackets for adults, youth and high school players. Adult teams will play on Saturday and Sunday while youth and high school teams will start on Friday. KIDO
