CRIME NEWS

  • Governor Brad Little signed House Bill 37 on March 12th, 2025, which will make death by firing squad Idaho’s primary method of execution beginning July 1st, 2026 — a change that affects nine inmates on death row amid ongoing lethal injection issues.  KIDO

CULTURE NEWS

  • O'Michael's Pub & Grill is hosting a St. Patrick's weekend with live bagpipers at 6 pm — a live band follows from 8 pm until 11 pm while the celebration runs until 2 am and continues through Monday. The historic pub on Bogus Basin Road offers homemade Irish food and drinks and has been a local gathering spot for nearly 60 years.  KBOI
  • Guy Fieri is celebrating Idaho’s culinary heritage by sharing recipes from three local restaurants that closed (Rick's Press Room, Pizzalchik, and Donnie Mac’s Trailer Park Cuisine) on the Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives website.
