COMMUNITY NEWS

  • A new little library honoring eight-year-old Mora Gerety was installed at the corner of Harrison Boulevard and Ada Street in the North End four months after her tragic death. The blue installation invites community members to leave messages, art, and toys to keep her memory alive.  KBOI

CULTURE NEWS

  • Payette Brewing in Boise will host a St. Patrick’s celebration beginning Saturday, featuring green beer on tap and a new Irish Red Ale. The three-day event includes mini-games, a 3:15 p.m. performance by the Boise Highlanders Bagpipe Band and Irish eats from Jokers BBQ + Cloud Cakes.  KIDO
  • Four downtown bars are hosting their 14th annual pantless party tomorrow for St. Patrick's Day—guests pay $15 if they do not wear pants and $20 if they do, with the event running from 8:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.  KIDO
  • Boise native Dani Scovel launched her mobile bookstore, Trolley Parton, in December 2025 to bring books directly to neighborhoods. She plans to pop up at parks and partner with local coffee shops (fostering community connection) as she expands her service across the Treasure Valley.  KBOI

  • New Census Bureau data shows that thousands of Idahoans are moving to 10 other states this year for lower costs and different weather. The report compares local benchmarks — such as Boise’s high median home price and rental rates — to reveal migration trends.  KIDO

  • Chipotle is offering a buy-one-get-one free deal on tattooed orders for customers between (3 and 4 p.m.) this Friday the 13th at all 12 Idaho locations in Treasure Valley as part of the Tatted Like A Chipotle Bag Day tradition with a Swae Lee partnership.  KIDO
