- ➤ AAA reported that between Tuesday and Wednesday, gas prices in Boise increased from $3.42 to $3.46 per gallon while state averages ranged from $3.17 in Butte County to $3.84 in Camas County amid rising fuel costs since the war in Iran began. KBOI
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Boise State will merge the College of Education and School of Public Service into a new college (if approved by the Idaho State Board of Education) effective July 1, 2026, and will sunset the College of Innovation and Design as its programs move to other academic units, the university said. ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Army Corps of Engineers said winter rains have raised Lucky Peak Reservoir (70% full) despite low snowpack statewide, and water releases set to start at the end of March will mirror last year’s schedule to manage flows in the Treasure Valley. KBOI
- ➤ Today, Boise announced the Keep Boise Cool initiative to help residents reduce their environmental footprint+ the program will offer practical tips and resources to lower energy use and fight climate change. Idaho Press

- ➤ Idaho law enforcement urges drivers to avoid drinking and driving during Saint Patrick’s Day celebrations this weekend, reminding everyone to use rideshare services and call 911 or ISP (477) if they see an impaired driver.
