GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Edgewood Lane in Eagle will close March 2 for road work that will replace pavement, update pedestrian ramps and install a new crossing signal (local detours available via Eagle Road or State Highway 55) until it reopens in June.  KBOI

HEALTH NEWS

  • The first-ever Boot Stomp Dance-A-Thon took place overnight from 6pm to 6am at The Farm in Garden City to raise funds for the American Cancer Society. Participants of all levels joined themed dance blocks and rest breaks to support cancer research, patient programs, and advocacy efforts.  KBOI

  • A Special Olympics basketball game at Skyview High School drew a large crowd on Thursday, Feb. 26 as local fans cheered the athletes in a spirited match.  Idaho Press
