  • Treasure Valley McDonald’s will bring back its fan-favorite Shamrock Shake for St. Patrick’s Day and serve it at all locations including the Broadway restaurant that stays open 24 hours. Costco also is set to offer a mint sundae as part of its updated menu.  KIDO

CULTURE NEWS

  • Doug Mason, a Boise State alum and local lifeguard, will compete on Season 22 of The Bachelorette starting Sunday, Mar. 22—he studied Film and Television Arts at BSU and his friendly nature may help him stand out on the show.  KIDO

ECONOMY NEWS

  • The 2026 grocery rankings show Albertsons dropped 3% to rank 19th among 20 brands, while Trader Joe’s scored highest. Trader Joe’s, with locations in Boise, Meridian and Coeur d’Alene, plans eight new stores outside Idaho + local shoppers are watching the shifts.  KIDO

  • Yelp has released its list of the top 10 pizza spots in Boise, showing spots that serve everything from slices to whole pies. Red Bench Pizza *a local favorite* is hiring as it faces increased demand, offering more job opportunities for the community.  KIDO

  • Kage Casey, the only Boise State Bronco invited to the NFL Combine, will compete on Sunday, March 1 in Indianapolis (streaming on NFL Network, NFL+, FuboTV, Hulu+ Live TV, and DirecTV).  KIDO
