- ➤ The Meridian Foodbank expanded its backpack room by nearly 900 sqft to support its program that provides over 800 meal-packed backpacks each week to students in West Ada. Volunteers delivered nearly 27,000 backpacks in 2025 to help meet community food needs. KBOI

- ➤ Meridian Costco in Idaho earned national recognition as one of the top nine locations from over 600 stores, noted for excellent customer service and perks like Boba tea. The ranking was announced in early 2026 and highlights a win for local retail performance. KIDO
- ➤ A new Tide laundry service is set to open on Broadway Avenue near Albertsons and Boise State Stadium today. The 1500 sqft space (formerly Honey Pot CBD) will offer wash, dry cleaning and other household services. KIDO

- ➤ Idaho Superintendent Debbie Critchfield said she will ask the Legislature to keep current public school funding—stressing that stable support is essential—after revising December’s budget to avoid new requests; the budget remains at about $2.8 billion and is constitutionally protected.
