About this event

It's that time of year again! And while it doesn't seem possible that Thanksgiving is right around the corner, I can assure you that it will be here before we know it... yikes!

The good news is that we'll have something fun to look forward to! This will be our 4th year hosting the Turkey Day 5k, so it is sort of tradition now. I really do enjoy soaking up the energetic atmosphere and starting the holiday off right in beautiful Downtown Boise.

Every activity level is welcome, whether you are sprinting, walking, jogging, or running. I am going to attempt to jog / run it this year, so we'll see how that goes 🤷♀️

About the event: 2026 marks the 16th year that the event benefits both the Boise Rescue Mission and Camp Rainbow Gold teams. As Boise continues to grow, so does the need for the services these organizations provide. Just by showing up you are already helping to contribute to these great organizations!

If you are able, you can also bring extra canned food or make a donation directly to these groups.
