Soldering Night: Tesla Coils

About this event

Join IEEE for a hands-on soldering night where students will assemble their own mini Tesla coil kits! Participants will practice soldering techniques, identify electronic components, follow circuit diagrams, and develop practical electronics assembly skills while building a device that demonstrates high-voltage, high-frequency electrical phenomena.

This activity combines electrical engineering theory with hands-on construction, offering an opportunity to explore resonant circuits, electromagnetic fields, and the science behind Tesla coils. No prior soldering experience is required. Whether you are new to electronics or looking to sharpen your skills, this is an opportunity to learn, build, and connect with fellow IEEE members.

Only 20 seats available. Register to reserve a spot.
