About this event

Wait, how do thought experiments even justify conclusions? Is something stopping us from just thinking up a result that confirms whatever conclusion we want? Let's talk about it! The initial topic is from the Stance philosophy journal .

You can get the paper we will be scrutinizing ahead of time right here: https://www.stancephilosophy.com/_files/ugd/5cd3e3_457a5ef5ed7e4fbfabe9ab274dfbb655.pdf

The plan is to go over the paper and then discuss the topic. Afterward we can have a more free-form conversation.

Also, I know the date might be a bit awkward. It's fine to prioritize your civic duties above philosophy club!
