Dreamweaver labs: Screenwriting

About this event

COST: Free

AGES: 14+

LOCATION: PLAY Studio

Story artists are invited to bring their screenplays for story discussion. Collaborate and network as a community of screenwriters gather at JUMP to discuss the art of writing stories for the screen, and potentially adapt your screenplay as part of the Dreamweaver Collective .

Everything that you see on the screen starts on the page. At our weekly Screenwriting Lab, we provide an open forum to learn the basics, share your work, give and receive feedback from fellow screenwriters, improve your craft, and write the scripts that can go on to be produced by our Production Lab .

ABOUT THE DREAMWEAVER COLLECTIVE:

The Dreamweaver Filmmaking Labs are part of a volunteer-based, collaborative PLAY Studio project with the mission to bring together a community to support local filmmakers, provide education to budding filmmakers, and get real life experience making movies!

We believe that the best way to learn filmmaking is by doing just that—making films.

We provide an open space where anyone with an interest in learning the ins-and-outs of film production can JUMP (pun intended) into the process at any level and learn from experienced professionals in a fast-paced, but supportive environment.
