About this event

Black Box Production by Gregg Irwin Dramedy November 7 (Age 13+) Clara and George have opened their small-town home to people in need, as an unofficial halfway house, but they’re getting on in years. Their son, Dylan, only comes home because he has to, and makes trouble for the residents who he thinks have taken his rightful place. When George has a fall and begins to decline, we join him, Clara, their residents, and a curmudgeonly judge as they face the future, face off against Dylan, and face their fears. With plenty of humor and heart, Half-Way Home looks at what it means to be imperfectly human, a family, and how we deal with aging and ability (our own and other’s). It’s about things we have no control over, choices we make, and whether our past defines our future. Also, diapers and people who talk to you while they’re peeing. Recommended for ages 13+, for some language and mature subject matter, including drug references.
